What Octoque itself allows on Google Business Profile today:

How Octoque handles Google Business Profile
After you sign in with the Google account that manages the business, pick the location. A business with three shops connects three accounts, each with its own posts.
Octoque asks for the start and end of every event and offer and checks the end comes after the start, so nothing goes up with the wrong dates.
Comments has a Google reviews tab. Needs a reply shows the ones you haven’t answered. Write a reply or tap Start a reply for me, then change or delete it later if you need to.
Google Business Profile starts at 10 am in your customers’ time zone. Edit a post’s text after it’s live from the post in Octoque.

How to connect Google Business Profile
- In Octoque, open Connected accounts and tap Connect next to Google Business Profile.
- Sign in with the Google account that manages the business and allow access. Octoque never sees your password.
- Pick the location. Add more locations the same way; each counts as one account.

What you can’t do on Google Business Profile, and why
Some limits are Google Business Profile’s, set in its official API; a few are Octoque’s own for now. Here they are, so nothing surprises you after you’ve scheduled.
- Post a video to Google through Octoque. Google posts take one photo in Octoque today.
- Post several photos at once. One photo per post.
- Post content Google’s policy doesn’t allow. Google reviews posts against its content policy and may not show ones that break it.[3]
- Keep a post up for ever. Google archives posts older than 6 months unless they have a date range.[1]
Questions people ask
Can Octoque reply to my Google reviews?
You reply from Octoque, on paid plans. Open Comments, then Google reviews. Octoque AI can suggest a reply; nothing is posted until you tap Reply.
Can I post to several locations?
Yes. Each location connects as its own account, and you can pick several in one post.
Why isn’t Google picked on my new post?
Each Google post needs a type (update, event or offer), so you add it on purpose. Tap the location under Where should it go.
How long does a Google post stay up?
Google archives posts older than 6 months unless they have a date range, like an event or offer.[1]
