Deleting your data

You can remove your data, or Octoque’s access to any platform, at any time. Posts already published stay on the platforms until you delete them there.

Remove one platform

  1. In Octoque, go to Connected accounts.
  2. Tap Disconnect next to the account.

This removes Octoque’s access with the platform and erases the numbers we stored for it. Your post history stays, marked “Disconnected account”.

You can also remove access from the platform’s side: Instagram and Facebook (Settings → Apps and websites), YouTube (Google security settings), TikTok (Settings → Security → Manage app permissions), LinkedIn (Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services), X (Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions). If you do it that way, tell us at hello@octoque.com or with the privacy request form and we’ll erase what we hold within 30 days.

Delete everything

  1. Download a copy first if you want one: You → Privacy & data → Download your data and Download your files.
  2. Then You → Privacy & data → Delete account, and confirm with your password.

Your data and files are erased at once, every platform connection is released, and backup copies roll off within 35 days. A minimal record (name, email, country, dates) is kept for 180 days as India’s IT Rules require, and security logs for 1 year, then both are erased. Can’t sign in? Use the privacy request form from your account email.

Platform access tokens are held by our publishing infrastructure provider, never in your browser, and are revoked when you disconnect. We never see or store your platform passwords.
