Share a video to Octoque from your phone

Steps

1. Android: in Chrome, open octoque.com/app, tap the menu (⋮) → Add to Home screen. Then in Photos, CapCut or any app, tap Share → Octoque. A new post opens with the video in it.
2. iPhone: make an API key under You → Developers & AI with post.write, and copy it.
3. Open the Shortcuts app → +. Add Receive Images and Media from Share Sheet.
4. Add Get Contents of URL: URL https://api.octoque.com/v1/media, Method POST, Header Authorization = Bearer followed by your key, Request Body Form with a File field named file set to Shortcut Input.
5. Add Get Dictionary Value for id, then Open URLs with https://octoque.com/app/new?media= followed by the Dictionary Value. Name the Shortcut “Octoque” and turn on Show in Share Sheet.

What you’ll see

Share → Octoque uploads the video and opens a new post with it, ready for a caption.

The Shortcut holds your API key, so give the key post.write only: it can upload and make drafts but never post. Revoke it any time under Developers & AI.
