Add a video from Google Drive, Dropbox or Canva
In New post, tap Google Drive, Dropbox or Canva and pick the file. Octoque fetches it directly, so big videos don’t go through your phone.
Updated
Steps
- Tap New post. Under the upload box, next to Or bring it in from, tap Google Drive, Dropbox or Canva.
- Google Drive: sign in with Google, allow access to the files you pick, then choose a video or photo. Dropbox: choose the file in the Dropbox window.
- Canva: the first time, tap Connect Canva and allow it. Then pick a design and choose As a video (MP4) or As a photo (PNG).
What you’ll see
The file appears in the post and in your Library, like an upload. It shows “Fetching…” or “Exporting from Canva…” while it comes in.
What Octoque can see
Google Drive: only the files you pick, never the rest of your Drive, and Octoque doesn’t keep the access. Dropbox: only the file you choose. Canva: your design list, so you can pick one; disconnect any time under You → Integrations.
Canva designs with several pages
Octoque uses the first page. For a different page, duplicate it into its own design in Canva.
Troubleshooting
Octoque couldn't open that file. Pick it again and allow access.
Google or Dropbox didn’t give access to that file. Pick it again and allow access when asked.
This design uses paid Canva elements. Open it in Canva to license them, then try again.
Canva only exports paid elements once they’re licensed. Buy or swap them in Canva, then pick the design again.
Your Canva connection ended. Connect Canva again.
Go to You → Integrations and tap Connect Canva.
