How golden hour picks your times

Each platform has a starting hour when its audience tends to be around. Octoque sets it on your audience’s clock, or yours if you haven’t said where they are.

Steps

  1. In New post, under When?, pick Each platform at its golden hour (it’s picked already).
  2. Check the list under it: one time per platform, shown in your time zone, with “Timed for” and your audience regions above it.
  3. Schedule. Each platform goes out at its own time.

Starting hours, in your audience’s local time

These are starting points from common platform-wide patterns, not your own numbers yet. The reasoning is on Golden hour.

Whose clock?

If you set Where your audience is, golden hours follow that region’s time (the first region you picked). Otherwise they follow your own time zone. For example, a creator in India with an audience in the United States gets Instagram at 19:00 New York time, shown to them in India time.

The region clocks Octoque uses: United States (New York), Canada (Toronto), UK (London), Europe (Berlin), Middle East (Dubai), India (Kolkata), Southeast Asia (Singapore), Australia (Sydney), Latin America (São Paulo), Africa (Lagos).

Today or tomorrow?

If a platform’s golden hour today is less than five minutes away or already past, its post goes at the same hour the next day.
