How long we keep your data
Your posts and uploads stay while your account is open. Videos leave 90 days after they’re live, and accounts nobody uses for 2 years are deleted after two emails.

| A video that’s live | 90 days after every post using it is live or done. The post keeps a still of it |
| Photos and cover images in posts | With their post |
| Your Google sign-in link (Google account ID and email) | Until you unlink Google or delete your account |
| Notifications | 90 days |
| Mentions found for your keywords (Studio) | 90 days, then deleted |

| An account nobody signs in to | 2 years, then deleted after two emails |
Why videos leave after 90 days
Once a video is live, the platforms have it. Keeping a second copy for years helps no one, so 90 days after every post using a video is live (or done), Octoque removes the file. The post stays in your history with its caption, links, results and a still of the video. Videos you haven’t posted yet stay until you delete them.
Want to post it again later? Keep your own copy, or download your files before then. To post it again, upload it in a new post.
Accounts nobody uses
If nobody signs in to an account for 2 years, we email 30 days and 7 days before deleting it. Signing in, or using an API key, keeps it. We never delete an account on a paid plan, or one with posts scheduled.
Troubleshooting
This post's video left Octoque 90 days after it went live. Upload it again in a new post.
The file was removed after its post was done. Tap Duplicate to copy the caption and platforms, then add the video again.
