YouTube title, description and statement
YouTube needs a title (up to 100 characters). Your caption becomes the description, and YouTube’s statement shows above the button.
Updated
Steps
- With YouTube picked in New post, fill in YouTube title. The counter shows “· Required for YouTube” until you do.
- Your caption (or the YouTube tab’s version) becomes the video description, up to 5,000 characters.
- Read YouTube’s statement above the button, then schedule.
The statement
YouTube requires apps to show it next to the button that uploads. In Octoque it reads: “By clicking “Schedule post”, you certify that the content you are uploading complies with the YouTube Terms of Service (including the YouTube Community Guidelines) at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms. Please be sure not to violate others’ copyright or privacy rights.” The button name changes to match yours.
Change the title later
Before it goes out: open the post, tap Edit next to YouTube and change Video title.
