Set up your studio

Before you start

• An Octoque account. See Create your account.

Steps

1. You. Check What should we call you? and Your time zone (your device’s zone is marked “detected”). Tap Continue.
2. What do you post? Pick all that fit: Short videos, Long videos, Photos, Text posts, Podcasts, Lives. Tap Continue.
3. Where is your audience? Optional. Pick up to 3 regions. Golden hours then follow your audience’s clock, not yours. Tap Continue, or Skip for now.
4. Connect where you post. Tap Connect next to a platform and sign in on that platform’s own page. Repeat for each one. You can also Skip for now and connect later.
5. How should we keep you posted? Choose which updates you want. Failures are always emailed. Tap Make my first post (or Go to my studio if you didn’t connect anything).

What you’ll see

If you connected at least one account, you go straight to New post with every account already picked.

Joined someone else’s workspace?

If a teammate invited you, you see three steps instead of five: your name and time zone, what you post, and updates. The workspace owner or a manager looks after its audience and accounts.

Changing your answers later

Everything here can be changed under You: time zone and audience in Time zone & audience, accounts in Connected accounts, updates in Notifications.
