Connect accounts
What each platform needs before you connect, and how to fix a connection.
- Connect a social accountSign in on the platform’s own page and Octoque can post there. We never see your password.
- Connect your Instagram accountInstagram lets apps post only to professional accounts (Business or Creator). Switching is free and takes a minute. No Facebook Page needed.
- Connect your TikTok accountSign in on TikTok and allow Octoque. Each post then asks who can see it, as TikTok requires.
- Connect your YouTube channelSign in with the Google account that owns the channel. If the channel is on a Brand Account, pick that Brand Account in Google’s chooser.
- Connect LinkedIn (profile or Page)Sign in on LinkedIn, then choose your own profile or a company Page you manage. Connect the other one with Add another.
- Connect your X accountSign in on X and allow Octoque. X posts are counted per month on each paid plan; a post with a link counts as 10. On Free, Octoque reminds you to post to X yourself.
- Connect a Facebook PageOctoque posts to Facebook Pages, not personal profiles. Sign in, allow your Pages, then pick the Page to post to.
- Connect your Threads profileSign in on Threads and allow Octoque. Threads posts can be text only, up to 500 characters.
- Reconnect an accountWhen an account shows Reconnect needed, sign in on the platform again. Your posts and history stay as they are.
- Disconnect an accountDisconnecting removes Octoque’s access to that account and erases its results here. Your post history stays.
- Connect Pinterest, Bluesky, Google Business Profile or RedditFour more places to post. Pinterest and Google ask one question after you sign in; Bluesky uses an app password.
- Connect Instagram through FacebookInstagram connects two ways. Through Facebook adds the paid-partnership label and Instagram music.
