Connect a Facebook Page
Octoque posts to Facebook Pages, not personal profiles. Sign in, allow your Pages, then pick the Page to post to.
Updated
Before you start
- A Facebook Page. Apps can’t post to personal Facebook profiles.
- Facebook access to that Page that lets you manage it. Meta’s API asks that the person connecting can create content on, manage and moderate the Page, so full control is the safe choice.
Steps
- In Octoque, go to You → Connected accounts.
- Tap Connect next to Facebook (or Add another if one is already connected).
- Sign in on Facebook and allow Octoque. When Facebook asks which Pages to share, tick the ones you want to post to.
- Octoque asks Which Page should we post to? Tap Connect next to the Page. To add another Page later, tap Add another.
- You’re back in Octoque with a note such as “@yourname connected”, and the account shows Connected.
