Connect LinkedIn (profile or Page)

Sign in on LinkedIn, then choose your own profile or a company Page you manage. Connect the other one with Add another.

Updated

Before you start

  • A LinkedIn account.
  • For a company Page: you’re a super admin or content admin of it. LinkedIn lets those two roles create posts; analysts can’t.

Steps

  1. In Octoque, go to You → Connected accounts.
  2. Tap Connect next to LinkedIn (or Add another if one is already connected).
  3. Sign in on LinkedIn’s page and allow Octoque.
  4. Octoque asks Where should we post on LinkedIn? It lists Your profile and each Page you manage. Tap Connect next to one.
  5. You’re back in Octoque with a note such as “@yourname connected”, and the account shows Connected.

  • Pick which page to connect.

Tap Connect next to your profile or one of your Pages in the list.

  • The connection didn’t finish. Try again.

The sign-in on LinkedIn was closed, cancelled or refused. Tap Connect again and allow access on LinkedIn’s page.

  • That sign-in has expired. Tap Connect to start again.

You took a while on the platform’s page and the sign-in timed out. Start again; nothing was saved.

  • Too many tries in a row. Wait a minute, then connect LinkedIn again.
