Connect your Threads profile
Sign in on Threads and allow Octoque. Threads posts can be text only, up to 500 characters.

Before you start
- A Threads profile you can sign in to.
Steps
- In Octoque, go to You → Connected accounts.
- Tap Connect next to Threads (or Add another if one is already connected).
- Sign in on Threads’ page and allow Octoque to post for you.
- You’re back in Octoque with a note such as “@yourname connected”, and the account shows Connected.

Troubleshooting
Too long for Threads. Shorten it in its tab, or leave it out.
Captions written for Instagram or LinkedIn are often too long for Threads. Write a short version in the Threads tab.
The connection didn’t finish. Try again.
The sign-in on Threads was closed, cancelled or refused. Tap Connect again and allow access on Threads’s page.
That sign-in has expired. Tap Connect to start again.
You took a while on the platform’s page and the sign-in timed out. Start again; nothing was saved.
Too many tries in a row. Wait a minute, then connect Threads again.
Wait a minute, then try once more.
We couldn't connect Threads. Try again, and if it keeps happening, write to us from Help.
Threads refused the connection. Check the requirements above, then try again. Still failing? Tap Feedback & help → I need help, or email us.
We couldn't reach Threads just now. Try again in a minute.
Threads or our connection to it had a short hiccup. Try again in a minute.
