Unschedule, duplicate or delete a post
Move to drafts stops a post going out. Duplicate makes a new draft copy. Delete removes a post that hasn’t gone live; Delete… next to a platform removes it there.
Updated
Steps
- Open the post.
- Move to drafts: unschedules every platform that’s still waiting. Nothing goes out; schedule it again any time.
- Duplicate: makes a new draft with the same caption, file and platforms, and opens it.
- Delete: confirm “Delete this post? Live posts stay up.” Delete only shows while no platform is Posting or Live.
Deleting a live post
Next to a Live platform, tap Delete…. On YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads, Pinterest and Bluesky, Octoque deletes it there for good (on YouTube with its views and comments) and the post page shows Deleted. Instagram and TikTok don’t let apps delete posts: open it in their app, tap ⋯ and choose Delete. When a platform tells us a post was deleted there, the post page shows Deleted too (on X: “Deleted on X. We removed our copy of it and its results too.”).
Troubleshooting
Nothing in this post is waiting to go out.
There’s nothing to unschedule: it’s already live, failed or a draft.
Every account in this post was disconnected. Connect one, then make a new post.
Duplicate needs at least one connected account. Connect one first.
